Latest addition in my shelf

I love our bookcase. Seriously, I do'nt know what to do when I add a book on the last space on this shelf?! However, there are still room for a few more. And the latest discovery on the Amazon are my two new favorites.


Charley Harper: An Illustrated Life

The great illustrator Charley Harper (1922-2007) appears in a new book. Edited and designed by Todd Oldham. Big colour posters with all his beautifully illustrated animals and birds and a lot of other illustrations too. This huge book can only be fitted on the living room table, that is if you want to take it out of it's lovely graphic box :-)


Now and then you might come across some books of his in second-hand bookshops, like this biology book.



Tord Boontje

Inspiring pictures of Tord Boontje work and paper cuts. The pages in the book are perforated, a nice surprise.

Reading!

Making my debut as a childrens book illustrator with a book about the human body. Relese of the childrens book Jonathan och Kroppen (Jonathan and the body) on the Book Fair in Gothenburg was October 1. Writer Karin Salmson, publisher Vilda Förlag.
Tonight is a reading on the Allmänna Galleriet in Stockholm for the queer ABC book, but the "body book" will also be shown.

Flora Metamorphicae

The most lovley exhibition at the Gallery of Blås och Knåda in Stockholm. Ceramic flowers in soft and bright colours. Like somthing from the deep blue. It brings in me a big desire. Unfortunely they can only be bought in a big bunch with flowers.


The two pictures above with the flowers I took in the gallery. The other is from the catalogue. But they has to be seen live and october 24th is the last day. The artists are from Norway: Kari Aasen, Lippa Dalén, Siri Haaskjold, Bjørg Hougen, Audhild Rypdal and Eli Veim.

The Swedish Publishing Prize 2007

The public health care magazine Vårdguiden was awarded in the Swedish Publishing Prize 2007 for it´s topicality and joy of reading. I am happy to be one of the contributors.
